Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, was raised in Wellington) is a Canadian actress. Paquin was born in Winnipeg and grew up in Wellington and made her debut as Flora McGrath when she played the role as Flora in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 years old for Best Supporting Actress. In her teens, she moved to the United States. Paquin was chosen to play the role of the child in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre in the year 1996. Also, she was an important part in Fly Away Home, a movie from that same year. Paquin was a part-time actress in the TV film of 1997 adaptation of Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding. She also played the queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). She played teenagers as part of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) as well as her polexia Aphrodisa character on the screen in Almost Famous (2000).
